IN-PERSON: Town Picnic! Kerri Arsenault in conversation with educator, activist, and Roxbury resident, Lisa Huber

  • Minor Memorial Library 23 South Street Roxbury, CT 06783 (map)

RSVP PREFERRED. YOU CAN DO THAT HERE

I am excited to celebrate with Roxbury the launch of my book, Mill Town (ten years in the making), at the Minor Memorial Library where I will be in conversation with friend, neighbor, and colleague, Lisa Huber about the book.

Bring a blanket, a picnic, maybe a chair, and if it’s hot and sunny, sunscreen. We will be sitting outside on the library lawn. You are welcome to bring your own cups, but we will also provide disposable plastic ones. Books will be sold on site or you can preorder from your favorite local bookstore. FIRST KEG IS ON ME and the Minor Memorial will also be providing some beverages.

You MUST abide by the mandate of the library and state social distancing rules, which means wearing a mask (unless you are on your blanket 6-10 feet away from another party), maintaining a minimum of six feet from others (including children), and washing your hands, etc. Be a good neighbor! And please share this email?

Lisa Worth Huber, Ph.D. is a specialist in community peacebuilding and conflict transformation and has worked in diverse settings as a consultant, facilitator, peace and social justice educator. She is also a teaching artist with a passion for storytelling, fiction writing, poetry and spoken word.

BOOKS WILL BE SOLD BY OUR LOCAL BOOKSELLER, HICKORY STICK BOOKS.
